Stuart Cochlin
Project Director
Stuart has a clear plan for the future of the project, he wants to make himself completely redundant and watch as the entire project is Khmer managed. Stuart, an architect hailing from London now firmly based in Siem Reap, co-founded the project in 2007, along with Jig Cochrane, and has proudly witnessed its massive growth and respected recognition since its inception.

Phare Ponleu Selpak Art School
The Giant Puppet Project invite student artists from Phare Ponleu Art School in Battambang to lead workshops. After attending a three day masterclass with Jig Cochrane, the students are given the opportunity to lead their own classes instructing the children on how to build giant creations from tissue paper and rattan. The results get better every year as the artists continue to grow.
